He’s smart
He’s lovable. He’s Dexter Morgan, America’s favorite serial killer who spends his days solving crimes and his nights committing them. During season 8, Angel Batista wasn’t always played by David Zayas.
Dexter Morgan: I’ve lived in the dark for a long time
His son, David Zayas Jr., fills in for his father in some scenes because they look remarkably alike. Dexter has a large scar on his left side that is visible throughout the first season. Later, in season 2, the scar has moved to his right side, leaving his left side unmarked.

Over the years, my eyes adjusted until the darkness became my world and I could see… Main Theme Written by Rolfe Kent Performed by Rolfe Kent. Dexter is easily one of my favorite TV shows of all time, and one of the few shows I can watch multiple times without getting tired of.
You should watch this show for Michael C
It’s hard for me to put into words how much I love this show. The only thing that’s not good about it is the ending. The ending was pretty bad, but it still doesn’t take away from how good the show is overall.
He’s amazing in this
Hall’s solo performance as Dexter. If you haven’t seen this incredible show yet, make sure you give yourself enough time because you’ll want to watch it as quickly as possible. Once you start watching, you won’t be able to stop.
